Nutrition counseling at St. John’s Health is designed to help patients manage and treat health conditions. Our outpatient and inpatient registered dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy for a wide range of conditions, including:
One of the missions of St. John’s Health is promoting community wellness. As part of that effort, we offer nutritional counseling and educational programs for the general public. Through these services, you will learn more about what constitutes a healthy diet and how certain foods can help fight or even treat medical conditions.
Various nutritional programs are offered through our wellness services, including support groups, wellness coaching, and a diabetes prevention course. Our registered dietitians offer a 16-week Diabetes Prevention Program where patients at a high risk of the disease can benefit from knowledgeable supervision as they take steps to lower their risk.
