Endowment Fund

An endowment is a lasting gift to St. John’s Health Foundation that supports the future of St. John’s Health. Funds contributed to the endowment are invested, with only a portion of the earnings used annually to support critical programs, patient care, and community health initiatives. This approach ensures that each donation continues to grow over time, providing a stable source of funding for generations to come. Contributing to the endowment is a powerful way to create a legacy that advances our mission well into the future.

Here’s how to set up an endowment with St. John’s Health Foundation:

Step 1: Contact Us
Start by reaching out to discuss your vision and goals. You can call or meet a member of our team who will guide you through the options.

Step 2: Determine Your Purpose
Decide if you want to establish a general endowment or one dedicated to a specific program, service, or area of need within St. John’s Health. We can help you outline the purpose and any specific guidelines.

Step 3: Funding the Endowment
Endowments can be funded through an initial gift, which may include cash, securities, or other assets. Some donors also choose to fund endowments over time or through planned gifts, such as including the endowment in their will.

Step 4: Set Up the Agreement
We will work with you to draft an endowment agreement, outlining how funds will be invested, how earnings will be used, and any other preferences.

Step 5: Celebrate and Monitor
Once established, you’ll receive updates on how your endowment is helping to fulfill its purpose, and we’ll reach out to recognize your generosity.

If you’re interested in establishing an endowment, please call us at 307.739.7512 and a member of our team will be happy to guide you through the process and discuss options that align with your philanthropic goals.
