About Christian
As a Family Practice Physician in Jackson, Wyoming, Dr. Christian Dean enjoys the mix of patients he sees, ranging from local ranchers to international tourists. He is particularly passionate about Wilderness and Travel Medicine. He is adept with primary care sports medicine and currently serves as the team doctor for the local Jackson Hole Moose hockey team.
The mountains in Maine and Colorado drew him to study in these beautiful locations. After majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Colorado in Boulder, he did a year of clinical research in the Denver Health E.D. and in a virology lab in Boulder. He then earned a Master's Degree in Biomedical Science from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth where he then earned his DO degree at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He chose to attend an Osteopathic Medical School to better his understanding of musculoskeletal ailments and to develop a more holistic approach to medicine. Once he completed his Residency at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, TX, he longed to return back to the mountains and moved to Jackson.
Dr. Dean lives with his girlfriend and their two dogs.
