Alexandra E. Flis, MD
About Alexandra
Dr. Alexandra Flis is the Medical Director of St. John’s Health Physical Rehabilitation, where she helps patients recover from injury, heal from trauma, and get back to their independent lives. Dr. Flis graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine, going on to complete an internship in Internal Medicine as well as a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Utah Health. She serves in multiple leadership roles at University of Utah Health and the University of Utah School of Medicine, and is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
In her role as Medical Director of St. John’s Health Physical Rehabilitation, Dr. Flis is focused on caring for patients, and using the latest physical rehabilitation treatments to help them regain the strength and independence to get back to the lives they love. She is proud to be heading a team that is bringing unique, state-of-the-art physical medicine and individualized rehab care to the Jackson Hole community.
When she is not caring for patients or reading up on the latest innovative rehabilitation treatments, Dr. Flis loves exploring the outdoors with her family. As an avid skier and mountain biker, she looks forward to enjoying all the Tetons have to offer with her husband and two daughters.
