  • Categories: Class, Foundation, Wellness Services

About This Event

St. John’s Health is looking for Healing Touch volunteers!

What is Healing Touch?

Healing Touch works with your body’s natural energy to promote healing and provide a deep sense of relaxation. Providers use their hands above or on the body, using gentle touch to clear, energize, and balance the human and environmental energy field.

Who can be a Healing Touch Volunteer?

We are looking for retired clinical staff, wellness providers, or anyone familiar with health care. Volunteers must be comfortable and competent in hospital inpatient, outpatient, and hospice settings.

What do I need to do to become a Healing Touch Volunteer?

Volunteers are required to go through our hospital vetting and onboarding process, which includes interviews, background checks, drug screens, current vaccinations, and an orientation. Following this, volunteers will need to complete a minimum 16 hour level 1 healing touch certification training. An additional 18-hour Level II certification is optional.
