Meet Our New Provider: Audrey Schaefer, PA-C

We’re excited to welcome Audrey Schaefer, PA-C, to the St. John’s Health Surgical Specialists and trauma care teams! Audrey will be providing expert post-surgical follow up care, collaborating closely with our surgeons to ensure the best possible recovery for our patients.

Audrey graduated from Idaho State University’s PA program in 2009 and completed a residency as an Emergency Room PA at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA. Her journey into medicine was inspired by family members in the field; she was inspired by their stories of helping others to pursue a medical career herself. In her professional capacity, she treasures connecting with her patients as people and sharing a smile or laugh. She also loves watching patients achieve improvement in their recovery from illness or injury and return to thriving.

Outside of work, she’s likely found mountain biking, running, camping, and exploring the mountains with her husband and 4-year-old.
