Local Film Premiere: "Something Changed in the Room"

The public is invited to a free screening of the award-winning short film Something Changed in the Room, by David Stubbs, featuring the work of music therapist Hillary Camino. The local premiere of the film, winner of the Toronto Short Documentary Film Festival, will take place on Thursday, September 5, at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, as part of the 2024 Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. The event begins with a Pre-Premiere Reception at 5:00 pm, followed by the film screening at 5:30 pm.

Filmmaker David Stubbs was on a photography assignment for St. John’s Health (SJH), Jackson, Wyoming, when he was moved by what he was witnessing -- transformation in the quality of life of his subjects, whose lives were greatly enriched through their work with clinical music therapist Hillary Camino. Together with Camino and SJH creative services director Allie Truelove, Stubbs began work on the documentary in order to share the stories with a broader audience.
