St. John’s Health now offers an app for on-demand care, allowing users to access medical care for many common problems. Board-certified providers at St. John’s On-Demand Care are available 24/7/365, making this service very convenient after-hours, nights, weekends, and even on holidays.
“You can’t plan when or where you get sick. Using On-Demand care is easy, effective and efficient, and you can get the care you need anywhere in the U.S.,” said Lisa Finkelstein, DO, medical director of telehealth at St. John’s Health. “If you’re traveling for work or on vacation, you can meet with a provider at your convenience using a phone or video.”
On-Demand Care is available for non-emergency conditions such as acne, common cold, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, allergies, rashes, pink eye, headaches, and more. Prescriptions, when appropriate, can be sent to a local pharmacy. Please do not use this service if you think you may have COVID-19. Instead, call the St. John's COVID hotline at 307.739.4898, ext. 3.
“I highly recommend this service,” said one recent user of On-Demand Care. “This was great for what I needed today, as I was working, in a lot of pain, and wanted a solution fast. Within minutes, they were able to call in a prescription to my pharmacy.”
With a national network of licensed providers, On-Demand Care can address medical problems that occur while you are traveling or working remotely, even across state lines.
Individuals can access On-Demand Care using a phone or an internet-enabled device. The mobile app makes it quick and easy to access a provider from a smartphone or tablet. Users create a free account online and fill out a brief medical history. There is no cost to activate the account.
When individuals schedule an appointment, they are charged $75 per consultation, payable by credit or debit card. Payment is required at time of service and does not apply to the annual insurance deductible.
