New specialists at St. John's

New physician specialists are now available to see St. John’s patients in the vital areas of Oncology, Neurology, and Pulmonology. “There is growing demand for these services,” said communications officer Karen Connelly. “With the addition of these experts, St. John's is helping ensure that more patients will be able to receive the care they need without the burden of travel.”
Huntsman Cancer Institute oncologist Dr. Benjamin Solomon recently joined Dr. John Ward and oncology nurse practitioner Kerry Carr at St. John's Cancer Care, an affiliate of Huntsman Cancer Institute, Salt Lake City, UT. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Solomon completed his fellowship training in hematology and oncology at University of Utah School of Medicine. Board-certified neurologist Dr. Kyle Mahoney treats patients with diseases related to the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system, including movement disorders. Dr. Mahoney completed medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he also completed a neurology residency and a neuromuscular fellowship. Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine
Dr. Haven Malish treats patients with asthma, COPD, sleep disorders, and other lung issues. Board-certified in sleep medicine and pulmonary disease, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Southern California and completed fellowships in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Southern California and in sleep medicine at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education.
