Seeking submissions for a name for the new St. John's Living Center

When we asked for the community to support St. John’s SPET project to build a new St. John’s Living Center, you said “YES!”. Now we have another favor to ask: Will you help name our new home for seniors? Please submit your ideas online at ANewHomeForANewAge.org or call 307.739.7512 by May 18.

“The public has been heavily involved in the new living center project since the beginning. We would like to continue to encourage that involvement by inviting local residents to participate in the naming process,” said Patrick Trucco, member of the St. John’s Hospital Foundation Board and naming committee. “Deciding on a name is an important part of re-branding the Living Center, allowing us to describe who we are and what we do.”

According to the naming committee, the new name should feel authentic, describe the facility, be memorable, and be distinguishable from other senior service providers.

The new facility will provide long-term residential nursing care, secure memory support, transitional care (short-term rehabilitation), and hospice and respite care services.

The naming project is concurrent with the design process for the new facility, and both the name and the final architectural renderings will be unveiled at a public presentation in July. The naming project is a collaboration between St. John’s Medical Center, St. John’s Hospital Foundation, the Living Center Task Force, and a naming committee.
